1. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing, registering for, booking through, or otherwise using HIKING-LEBANON, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to any policies referenced in them.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use HIKING-LEBANON services or participate in HIKING-LEBANON activities.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a HIKING-LEBANON account unless HIKING-LEBANON expressly permits registration through a parent or legal guardian.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information provided when registering is accurate, current and complete.
3. Member Accounts
Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their username, password and account information.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you notify HIKING-LEBANON promptly of unauthorized access.
HIKING-LEBANON may suspend, restrict or deactivate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse HIKING-LEBANON services or create risks for other participants.
4. Events and Activities
HIKING-LEBANON may organize hiking, outdoor, wellness, community and related activities.
Event information may include the date, meeting point, expected duration, difficulty, distance, equipment requirements, capacity, participation fees and safety instructions.
HIKING-LEBANON may update event details where reasonably necessary because of weather, trail conditions, access restrictions, safety requirements or operational circumstances.
5. Bookings and Payments
A booking is confirmed only when the applicable booking requirements have been completed and HIKING-LEBANON has issued confirmation.
Prices, payment methods, taxes or additional charges applicable to an event will be displayed before confirmation where relevant.
HIKING-LEBANON may refuse or cancel a booking where payment is incomplete, event capacity has been reached or participation cannot reasonably be accepted.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and refund conditions may vary by event and will be shown with the relevant event information when booking functionality is available.
HIKING-LEBANON may cancel, postpone or modify an event because of weather, unsafe conditions, government restrictions, insufficient participation, guide availability or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Where an event is cancelled by HIKING-LEBANON, applicable refund, credit or rescheduling arrangements will be communicated to affected members.
7. Outdoor Activity and Risk
Outdoor activities may involve natural and unavoidable risks including uneven terrain, falls, changing weather, wildlife, altitude, physical exertion, remote locations, transportation risks and limited access to emergency assistance.
By participating, you acknowledge that outdoor activities involve risks that cannot be completely eliminated.
Participants must follow guide instructions, safety notices and event requirements at all times.
8. Fitness and Participant Responsibility
You are responsible for determining whether an activity is appropriate for your physical condition, fitness level, experience and abilities.
Participants should bring the equipment, clothing, water, medication and other items reasonably required for the event.
HIKING-LEBANON may refuse participation where it reasonably believes that participation may create a serious safety risk to the participant or others.
9. Conduct and Community Standards
Members must behave respectfully toward participants, guides, organizers, local communities, property, wildlife and the natural environment.
Harassment, threats, dangerous conduct, deliberate environmental damage, discrimination, illegal activity or serious disruption of an event is prohibited.
10. Reviews, Ratings and Member Content
Members may be permitted to submit reviews, ratings, comments, photographs or other content.
Content must be accurate, lawful, respectful and relevant to the HIKING-LEBANON experience.
HIKING-LEBANON may moderate, reject or remove content that violates these Terms or community standards.
By submitting content for publication, you grant HIKING-LEBANON permission to display and reproduce that content for the operation and promotion of HIKING-LEBANON services, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy.
11. Intellectual Property
HIKING-LEBANON branding, logos, website design, original text, graphics, software, databases and other proprietary material are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell or commercially exploit HIKING-LEBANON proprietary material without authorization.
12. Third-Party Services
HIKING-LEBANON may use or link to third-party services such as maps, payment providers, transportation providers or external websites.
Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and HIKING-LEBANON does not control their independent operation.
13. Availability of the Service
HIKING-LEBANON aims to provide reliable access but does not guarantee that the website, application or every feature will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available.
Features may be modified, maintained, suspended or discontinued when reasonably necessary.
14. Disclaimer
HIKING-LEBANON provides event and outdoor information in good faith, but conditions in natural environments can change rapidly.
Maps, distances, elevations, timings, weather information and trail descriptions may therefore be estimates and should not be treated as guarantees.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HIKING-LEBANON will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the service or participation in an event where such limitation is legally permitted.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
16. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses or claims arising from your unlawful conduct, intentional misconduct, violation of these Terms or misuse of HIKING-LEBANON services.
17. Force Majeure
HIKING-LEBANON will not be responsible for failure or delay caused by events reasonably beyond its control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, public emergencies, transportation disruption, civil disturbance or similar circumstances.
18. Suspension and Termination
HIKING-LEBANON may suspend or terminate access where a member seriously or repeatedly violates these Terms, threatens safety, abuses HIKING-LEBANON systems or engages in unlawful activity.
19. Privacy
HIKING-LEBANON processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements.

20. Changes to These Terms
HIKING-LEBANON may update these Terms when services, legal requirements or operational practices change.
The updated version will display a revised effective date. Continued use of HIKING-LEBANON after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.
21. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon, without excluding any mandatory consumer or other legal protections that may apply.
22. Dispute Resolution
Members are encouraged to contact HIKING-LEBANON first so that disputes can be addressed directly and in good faith.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it will be submitted to the competent courts of Lebanon, subject to any mandatory jurisdiction rules that may apply.
23. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
24. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any event-specific conditions presented at booking, constitute the applicable agreement governing use of HIKING-LEBANON services.
